Cygames officially announced the cancellation of the 7th Event World Tour: The Stage in Los Angeles, which was scheduled to take place at the Peacock Theater in California. The decision to scrap the two-day event was finalized three days before the start date, preventing 17 voice actors and singers from performing as originally planned.
The cancellation stems from an inability to secure necessary entry visas for the performers. Despite collaborating with local promoters and legal counsel for over six months to obtain government approval, the organizers were unable to resolve the immigration requirements before the event's opening.
In response to the cancellation, the organizers are processing full refunds for all ticket types, including VIP passes that included limited-edition merchandise. The refund policy also extends to streaming tickets and live viewing passes sold to international fans. Further details regarding follow-up measures for attendees are expected to be provided on the official tour website.
While the Los Angeles leg of the tour has been abandoned, the production company intends to continue the global series. Future performances are still scheduled to proceed in London and Seoul, following the initial tour launch that occurred in June at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
