Keepduck Studio has officially announced that its upcoming title, Norma: Story of One Platform, is participating in the Steam Next Fest. The event, which runs from October 19 to October 26, features a free playable demo currently available on Steam for interested users.
The game is a story-driven adventure set in a dystopian society where citizens are physically divided by class. Players must navigate this world to uncover a conspiracy involving the local government and powerful corporations aiming to control the population. The gameplay centers on solving puzzles through a terminal hacking system, where players interact with computer systems and explore directories to reveal hidden secrets.
The current demo allows players to explore three distinct zones of Platform 8, showcasing the stratified nature of the society. While the full version is planned to include six zones, the developer notes that the game is intended for PC. It can be played on Steam Deck via experimental compatibility, though it has not received official Steam Deck verification.
The free demo will remain accessible on Steam even after the conclusion of the festival. Keepduck Studio expects to release the full version of the game in the fourth quarter of 2027.
