Developer Housemarque released the Saros: Zenith content update on the 19th. This free expansion provides new gameplay options for both existing and new players who own the roguelike third-person shooter.
Accessibility improvements include a game speed reduction feature that slows gameplay while maintaining enemy attack patterns. Additionally, an auto-fire function and DualSense wireless controller motion sensor aiming support have been introduced to reduce input complexity.
The update introduces Eclipse Layers, a high-difficulty mode featuring 12 new collectible Visions that reveal hidden lore. Players can also compete in Overlord Rush, a boss rush mode with global leaderboards that supports up to eight consecutive boss encounters in the Totality set.
The Carcosan Modifiers system has expanded with 10 new protective and 10 new trial modifiers. These allow players to customize difficulty levels, with certain thresholds required to progress within the Eclipse Layers mode.
