The cooperative cheating simulator Finals Week is scheduled for release on Steam on the 29th. Developed by DESTINYbit, the game transports players to a dysfunctional 90s-style school where the primary objective is to pass exams using any method other than studying.
Players must collaborate to cheat by copying answers from classmates, sharing textbooks, and using proximity chat to whisper. Tools available for these illicit activities include indestructible phones, walkie-talkies, binoculars, and pens modified into tear gas guns. Participants can also utilize secret passages, environmental obstacles, and even graffiti on desks or friends to share notes.
The experience is designed to be chaotic and humorous, requiring all players to succeed or fail together. Teachers actively patrol the classroom, eavesdropping on conversations and throwing erasers to catch cheaters. Those caught are forced to wear ridiculous restraints that make further cheating significantly more difficult.
During breaks between exams, players can explore school hallways to play basketball or interact with the environment. These intervals allow for strategic planning and the unlocking of new character customization options, including different outfits, hairstyles, and colors.
