Devolver Digital officially released the cooperative science fiction shooter Mycopunk on the 21st. Developed by Pigeons at Play, the title tasks players with joining a cleanup crew to eliminate a mysterious fungal threat spreading across the surface of New Atlas.
The 1.0 version introduces significant content updates, including new maps, weapons, grenades, and character options. Players can now utilize a hat customization feature to personalize their characters while engaging in squad-based combat.
Gameplay centers on grid-based weapon upgrades and team synergy. Players must remain cautious, as enemies can grow larger and stronger by collecting debris dropped during firefights, requiring strategic coordination to overcome the fungal infestation.
Following its initial early access debut in July of last year, the game has now expanded to PlayStation 5. Subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium can access the title on that platform, with further details available via Devolver Digital's official Korean X account.
