Pearl Abyss collaborated with Black Desert and Black Desert Mobile players to provide donations and goods valued at 2000만 원 to support children suffering from incurable diseases and their families.
On October 16, the developer visited the National Cancer Center alongside Make-A-Wish Korea to host an event for 100 patients and their families. The program featured magic performances and caricature sessions, while attendees received company merchandise and essential hospital care kits.
The initiative relied on in-game events where players participated by delivering dolls and transporting gift boxes in Black Desert, or selecting winter, moisturizing, and stationery supply sets for children in Black Desert Mobile.
Pearl Abyss has partnered with Make-A-Wish Korea since 2021 to help fulfill the wishes of children with incurable diseases through mentorship and office visits. The company previously visited Asan Medical Center last year to provide similar support.
