H2 Interactive has officially announced that the classic racing title Re-Volt is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch and PS5 on November 5. The publisher has also shared details regarding pre-orders for the physical boxed edition of the game on the Nintendo Switch platform.
The updated release introduces several quality-of-life improvements, including the addition of in-game instructions and a mini-map feature. Strategic depth has been expanded by allowing players to hold up to three items simultaneously, an increase from the original single-item limit. The game retains its core competitive spirit, supporting local multiplayer for up to four players via split-screen.
Players can choose from 28 distinct remote-controlled vehicles to race across environments like supermarkets, museums, and ghost towns. The gameplay emphasizes the unique physics of toy cars, featuring responsive handling, precise drifting, and suspension-based movement. Participants can utilize various tactical items, such as rockets, oil slicks, and batteries, to gain an advantage during races.
