Developer Alice Games has officially launched a Steam store page for its upcoming title, Made by Hand. The studio is currently accepting requests from players interested in participating in the game's playtest.
The game tasks players with managing a personal woodworking workshop to craft various household items and furniture. Players select specific wood types and blueprints, guiding a raw board through a detailed transformation process into a finished product.
Gameplay requires meticulous attention to detail throughout every stage of production. Players must measure components with millimeter precision, mark them with a pencil, perform initial cuts, refine edges, polish surfaces, and assemble the final pieces according to the chosen design.
Once completed, items can be photographed and sold via an online marketplace. Players receive feedback through ratings, likes, and comments from customers. Successfully sold goods are delivered to buyers using a drone delivery system.
