Nintendo has unveiled a fresh trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, showcasing updated gameplay, a distinct artistic direction, and specific new features. A notable addition is the Ocarina system, which enables players to perform songs by playing them directly. The game also supports microphone input, allowing it to recognize notes hummed by the user.
The trailer introduced the Hall of Fallen Foes, a feature allowing players to view statues of defeated enemies and access information about their locations. For bosses like King Dodongo, players can initiate rematches and track their completion times.
The Nintendo Switch App Zelda Notes will include tools such as map tracking, gossip quests, and a photo studio. The remake is scheduled for release on the Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, with a midnight launch at select US Best Buy locations. Additionally, 40th Anniversary hardware arrives on October 29, 2026.
