The Ministry of Defense has announced the upcoming release of the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2. Scheduled to launch on October 20, this content update introduces new long-range and clandestine combat equipment designed to enhance squad precision.
The update features several new weapons, including the R-40 Sightliner bolt-action sniper rifle for armor-piercing long-range shots and the P-44 Mist, a one-handed machine pistol. Players can also utilize the AMW-20 Apex, a backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle with assisted reload, or the LAS-44 Nova, an energy weapon that fires thermal projectiles. Additionally, the G-11 Caltrops grenade scatters proximity-detonated submunitions to slow and stun enemies.
New armor sets include the SS-33 Mimetic Marshal light armor and the SS-15 Focal Point medium armor. Both sets feature the Stationary Shroud passive, which decreases weapon sway and detection range when the player is crouched or prone. These items are complemented by new capes, player cards, the Manual Ballistic Projection emote, and the Longshot title.
Accessing this new content requires the base game, as well as Super Credits and game progression to unlock the specific items within the Warbond.
