Google Play is rolling out several discovery and social enhancements to its platform, which currently connects over 700 million gamer profiles. These updates include a personalized Game Finder, competitive Sprints, and clip-sharing capabilities via the Sidekick overlay.

The Game Finder tool provides recommendations based on individual player habits and community feedback, initially launching for English-language users in the US. Additionally, 48-hour Sprints will group players by skill level, while Sidekick Playbacks allow users to record and share 30-second gameplay clips.

Developers can now utilize Quests to offer in-game items like skins and boosters. Furthermore, Google is expanding its PC offerings by bringing titles such as Dave the Diver and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun to the platform, complete with cross-platform cloud saves and expanded Game Trials.

Google's Apps Experience and Level Up programs provide reduced service fees for select titles. PUBG Mobile utilized these guidelines, reporting a 22% increase in high-value installs and a 62% rise in spend per engaged buyer. These programs are currently active in the US, UK, EEA, Japan, and Australia.
