Sony has officially confirmed that God of War Laufey is scheduled for release on February 16, 2027. The title marks a significant shift for the franchise, as it will be the first main entry to feature Faye, also known as Laufey the Just, as the protagonist instead of Kratos.
The narrative follows Faye's journey through the afterlife, referred to as The Everywhen. While Sony Santa Monica has confirmed a physical disc release, there is currently no information regarding potential Collector's Editions for the game.
Players can choose between Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, with pre-orders opening on Tuesday, September 29. The Digital Deluxe version includes the Dark Alchemy Armor Set, blade, bow scales, and catalyst, alongside a resource pack, digital mini-artbook, and the official soundtrack.
Early purchasers who pre-order either edition before the launch date will receive additional bonuses, including the Last Wish Armor Set, Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance, and an extra resource pack.
