Logitech G is set to release the PRO X2 RAPID gaming keyboard on October 15, priced at 35,750 yen. This model represents a significant full-model change from the previous PRO X TKL RAPID, featuring a redesigned chassis that moves away from a floating design toward a more traditional, solid aesthetic.
The keyboard incorporates Gateron KS-20 POM magnetic analog switches, factory-lubed for a lighter 30g actuation force. It supports rapid trigger functionality, KEY PRIORITY (SOCD), and allows for 0.05mm adjustments to actuation and reset points. Additionally, the device officially supports hot-swapping switches, a feature not present in its predecessor.
A key addition is the OLED display, which enables users to adjust settings like rapid trigger and SOCD without needing the G HUB software. While the reviewer noted that the keyboard lacks a gasket mount—omitted due to professional player feedback regarding stability—it features a 6-layer sound-dampening structure and an upgraded 8,000Hz report rate, providing a smooth, high-quality typing experience.
Despite its performance, the reviewer noted that the tenkeyless layout may feel large for players accustomed to 60% or 75% keyboards. The product is available in black, white, and pink, offering customization through its OLED display and compatibility with G-KEYCAPS.
