The manga series Yumeneko Nekuto by Wataru Sawada is officially receiving a television anime adaptation. The project is being produced by STUDIO MASSKET under the direction of Sota Yokote. The main cast features voice actors Yusuke Kobayashi and Yuu Shinohara.

The story follows high school student Yuuhi Takamiya, who struggles with social isolation after missing his first week of school due to a fever. His life takes a chaotic turn when Nano, an alien from the planet Pokozu, arrives to force him into business dealings involving bizarre products.

Director Sota Yokote highlighted the production team's commitment to the source material's comedic and suggestive tone. Notably, the anime adaptation will feature explicit content in every episode, a creative choice that differs from the original manga's pacing. Yokote expressed gratitude toward the production committee and publisher Kodansha for their support during the development process.

The manga began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2024, with nine collected volumes currently published in Japan. The anime production staff also includes character designer Yoshihiro Watanabe, series composer Ichiokuemon Ichikawa, and composer Soshi Matsumura, with Shochiku Anime serving as the production organizer.
