A group identified as CyberLeek has threatened to release a functional build of Grand Theft Auto 6, including the complete narrative, if its associated cryptocurrency achieves a $30 million market capitalization. This ultimatum follows a series of unauthorized leaks orchestrated by the group over the past two months.

The group claims that Take-Two Interactive could prevent this release by issuing a public apology and committing to the production of physical game discs. These demands are presented as a protest against the industry's shift toward digital-only pre-orders.

Take-Two has been actively pursuing legal measures to identify those responsible for distributing infringing content, including filing subpoenas for information regarding specific Discord users and servers. The publisher previously sought information from YouTube but later withdrew that request.

The campaign has involved the distribution of unauthorized footage, including 25 minutes of material released during the week of October 5. Rockstar Games has consistently worked to remove these leaked clips, while the integration of cryptocurrency promotion into the leak strategy has drawn additional scrutiny.
