Sega has officially released Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition for PC. The title is available starting October 14, 2026, through digital storefronts including Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for 5990 yen including tax.
Originally developed by Creative Assembly and released in 2011, the base game is a strategy simulation title. This new definitive version introduces significant technical enhancements, such as full Japanese voice acting, improved lighting and shadow rendering, and support for 1440p and 4K resolution scaling.
The Complete Edition bundles the core experience with various downloadable content packs. Players gain access to expansions covering historical conflicts, specifically the Genpei War featured in Rise of the Samurai and the Boshin War depicted in Fall of the Samurai.
