Players utilize intuitive terrain tools and modular construction systems to design habitats. Gameplay modes include Career, Franchise, and Sandbox, supported by a new Planet Hub for monitoring conservation networks and a first-person camera mode for exploring facilities.
As of the 14th, Steam user reviews are 'mostly positive' with 71% approval from 918 participants. Players praised the addition of aquatic and flying animals and improved convenience.
