Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled the Year 1 downloadable content characters for the fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Following the previously announced Phoenix Cyclops, the developer confirmed that Jane Foster as Thor, Venom, and Jubilee will join the roster.
Developed by Arc System Works in collaboration with Marvel Games, the title features 4v4 tag-based combat. Producer Takeshi Yamanaka, known for his work on Guilty Gear -Strive-, oversees the project, which offers both traditional and simplified control schemes to accommodate various skill levels.
The newly revealed characters bring diverse abilities to the game. Jane Foster wields Mjolnir, Venom utilizes the symbiote entity, and Jubilee employs her mutant power to generate explosive energy sparks. Phoenix Cyclops is scheduled to arrive on November 2.
Regarding the release schedule for the new additions, Venom is slated for spring 2027, followed by Jubilee in summer 2027, and Jane Foster in winter 2027. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is currently available on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
