Nintendo has officially unveiled the Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, which will feature three distinct waves of downloadable content. This announcement follows previous ESRB ratings that indicated the presence of in-game purchases for the title.
The first wave, titled Four Weapons, is available now and introduces prototype relics inspired by Fire Emblem: Three Houses, including replicas of the Sword of the Creator and Areadbhar. Subsequent updates include New Outfits and Godly Aid in Holiday 2026, followed by a final 2027 release adding rival lords Anatolia, Bertrand, Orchel, and Talimun alongside new classes.
The second wave of content will provide costumes and hairstyle options for characters Cai, Dietrich, Leda, and Theodora, while also introducing Aurora, Jurah, and Smyrnos as allies. Players can currently access these four main characters as playable units within the Fire Emblem Heroes mobile game.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is scheduled to launch on the Switch 2 on September 17, 2026. While the first wave of the Expansion Pass is already accessible, the remaining content is slated for release throughout Holiday 2026 and 2027.
