Developer Wild Dog has officially launched Japanese Ramen Simulator into Early Access on Steam. The title allows players to manage a ramen shop either solo or in cooperation with others, focusing on tasks ranging from ingredient preparation to serving customers.
The game features core management mechanics including cooking ramen and gyoza, serving beer, and designing the restaurant layout. Players can develop original menus and customize kitchen and seating arrangements. Recent updates have introduced features like dish-cleaning staff to assist solo players, alongside improvements to cooking and building tools such as grid displays and item stacking.
Although originally scheduled for September 28, the release was delayed due to platform review processes. During this period, the team implemented 56 minor updates and system enhancements. The game supports between 1 and 10 players, though the developers recommend a maximum of 6 for cooperative sessions.
The title is available for 14.99 USD, with a launch discount bringing the price to 12.74 USD. It supports multiple languages including English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese. Future development will focus on incorporating player feedback and adding new staff roles.
