Digital Extremes has announced a new community-driven event for Warframe titled Epoch Operation: Taubound. Launching on October 15, this cooperative challenge tasks players worldwide with fueling a journey to the mysterious Tau star system. The event is scheduled to conclude on November 17.
During the event, players can visit Eris to battle Infested enemies and collect a resource called Moonflesh. This material is used to power the Sentient Mothership, Praghasa, and can be exchanged for various rewards, including Armor Sets, exclusive Honoria, Somachords, and diverse cosmetic items like Syandanas and Signas.
Alongside the event, the developer is introducing Prologue to Tau, a cinematic quest that allows players to control The Lotus. Additionally, players can utilize their customized Vessel from TennoCon in a new Eris level featuring a large-scale Infested boss encounter. These additions are permanent for those who have finished The Hex and The Old Peace quests.
The developers emphasize that the Xbox community has been integral to the game's growth since its 2014 debut on Xbox One. With the introduction of cross-play and cross-save features, the team continues to focus on platform parity and direct communication with its player base.
