Twenty startups have been selected to compete at TechCrunch Disrupt for the $100,000 prize and the Disrupt Cup. These companies were chosen from thousands of global applicants for their ambition to solve complex problems by making previously invisible data measurable.
The cohort focuses on diverse fields, including biological diagnostics, space logistics, and industrial automation. Notable entries include Longshot Space, which aims to launch cargo into orbit using hydrogen-powered kinetic launchers, and Intero Biosystems, which develops miniature human organs to accelerate drug discovery.
The competition is structured across four semifinal sessions held over two days. During these sessions, founders have six minutes on the Disrupt Stage to demonstrate how their technologies—ranging from AI-driven robotic assembly to scam-fighting conversational bots—can automate processes and improve decision-making.
Following the semifinals, five companies will advance to the finals on Thursday, October 15. The event concludes with the crowning of the 2026 champion at 4:15 p.m. Attendees can still purchase tickets to view the proceedings live.
