German developer Dadi Entertainment has updated the free demo for its medieval fantasy action RPG, Dadi Kingdom. The update introduces support for Traditional Chinese and arrives as the team prepares to participate in the upcoming Steam Next Fest.
In this title, players assume the role of a king managing a deceptive court. Gameplay involves daily judicial decisions where players must judge subjects, with consequences that impact the kingdom's future. Beyond the throne room, players engage in combat using swords, bows, or magic, while navigating political pressure from the church and mages that limits skill acquisition.
The updated demo adds twelve night events, new aquatic threats, and expanded dragon-related adventures. Players must balance state finances, manage aging, and secure an heir to prevent the collapse of their rule, as poor management leads to a game-over state when the treasury is depleted.
The demo is currently available on Steam. Dadi Entertainment has scheduled the official Early Access launch for December 7.
