The Nintendo Museum in Uji, Kyoto, is set to open a new facility called the Super Family Restaurant. Following a media preview held on October 13, the restaurant will begin a soft opening in November 2026 for select visitors, with full operations commencing as preparations are finalized. Reservations are required for dining at this new location.

Designed to reflect on Nintendo's history and memories, the restaurant emphasizes a shared dining experience. The menu features creative dishes like the 4,900 yen "Pakupaku Island" platter, which includes roast pork, chicken confit, and a unique "Taiyaki" fish dish served with original ponzu jelly. Many items incorporate playful textures, such as crispy kataifi noodles resembling a bird's nest under a hamburger.

The dining experience extends beyond the food itself. According to the restaurant staff, decorative items such as character-shaped food picks and coasters provided with meals are permitted for guests to take home. Additionally, the serving plates feature NINTENDO 64 branding, designed to evoke memories of multiplayer gaming sessions.

The interior design also incorporates Nintendo-themed elements, including Boo lanterns and various displays featuring series like Fire Emblem and The Legend of Zelda. Visitors can also view a special board commemorating the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, which highlights titles from the 1986 original to 2024's Echoes of Wisdom.
