The release of Hell Is Us on the Nintendo Switch 2 has been delayed to October 27 by developer Rogue Factor. This adjustment aims to coordinate the arrival of the platform version alongside a major game update across all supported systems simultaneously.
According to Rogue Factor, technical difficulties did not drive this scheduling change, as they described the port itself as solid, stable, and completely ready for launch. Instead, the studio moved both releases forward to guarantee that all players gain access to identical content on the exact same day.
The team announced the postponement through a social media statement, emphasizing that the setback stems entirely from logistics and distribution considerations rather than any code defects. They also acknowledged fans waiting for Nintendo hardware alongside new players who discovered the title through Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus.
Consequently, Switch 2 owners must wait until October 27 to explore Hadea, while existing users on PC, PS5, and Xbox will receive their major update on that same date rather than earlier. Originally released in September 2025, Hell Is Us has previously expanded its audience through subscription service debuts.
