During the Arknights Endfield Special Program titled Sanctuary of Ink, the developer revealed upcoming content updates for the game, including the introduction of two new characters named Si and Argent Flow.
Si will arrive in the first phase of version 1.6 as a Cryo Support character. Described as a Feranmut Proxy and ink spirit, Si can deal Artful Intent to cause additional Fixed DMG, utilize Inksoul to transfer damage, and shorten team combo skill cooldowns with her Ultimate talent.
Argent Flow will debut as a playable character in the second phase. Because he has not appeared in Main Missions yet, details about him remain limited. He functions as an Electric Guard capable of causing Electrification to increase enemies' All Taken DMG and detonating Sunderization stacks for Area DMG.
The Sanctuary of Ink update's first phase releases on October 15, 2026, and will run for 22 days featuring Si. The second phase launches on November 5, 2026, switching the banner to feature Argent Flow.
