Sony has officially unveiled the God of War Laufey Collector Box, a premium merchandise bundle priced at $150. Despite the high price point, the package notably excludes any physical or digital copy of the game itself, following a recent industry trend of releasing game-less collector editions.
The collection features an eight-inch tall light-up statue of Faye, Phranque, and Rue, which requires a USB power source for the lighting effect. Additionally, the box includes a 51-card Oracle Deck illustrated by Megan Lara and a physical mini artbook containing hand-selected concept art from Santa Monica Studio.
Critics have noted that the offering feels somewhat lacking compared to previous entries in the franchise. While God of War 2018 and Ragnarok included various physical and digital bonuses, this new box provides no complimentary game access or digital deluxe upgrades, leaving some fans disappointed by the value proposition.
The product is scheduled for release on February 16, 2027, with a recommended retail price of $149.99 USD, €149.99, or £129.99. Preorders open on October 13, 2026, at 10am local time exclusively through PlayStation Direct, with Sony warning that stock will be highly limited.
