The development team behind Pukey Goddess Syndrome has announced their upcoming title, Drunken Goddess Reflux. The game is officially scheduled for release on December 8.
Developed by Alliance Arts and WHO YOU, this roguelike survival game centers on a high-stakes drinking competition. Players engage in a Russian roulette-style battle against a demon who is obsessed with them, aiming to outlast their opponent without succumbing to nausea.
The core mechanics involve consuming alcohol to manipulate the game's rules. As players become increasingly intoxicated, they unlock unique abilities exclusive to drunkards. The primary objective is to force the demon into a state of total inebriation, effectively winning the duel by making her surrender her soul.
Players interested in the title can access the first playable demo starting October 19. This trial version will be available as part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest.
