South Korean developer Studio Doodal has officially unveiled its upcoming logic puzzle title, HopScout, by launching a Steam store page. The game is currently scheduled for release in the first half of 2027.
Set in the same universe as the 2023 platformer LAPIN, the story takes place more than three years after the events of the previous game. Players assume the role of Liebe, the leader of a rabbit burrow, tasked with organizing rabbits into specific missions based on their unique personalities and preferences.
Gameplay requires players to satisfy complex constraints, such as a rabbit's desire to stand in a specific position or their aversion to heat. To overcome these challenges, users must utilize various items like umbrellas, fans, and lanterns to accommodate individual needs. Successfully completing puzzles rewards players with hearts to unlock entries in the rabbit encyclopedia and new furniture for decorating the burrow.
HopScout will support five languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. While pricing remains unannounced, the game is available for wishlist registration on Steam ahead of its 2027 launch.
