Star Wars: Galactic Racer has officially launched, earning a 76 score in the PC Gamer review. While the game features a roguelike singleplayer gauntlet and Burnout-style takedowns, it has gained significant social media traction due to a specific character named Biddy Blas.
Biddy Blas is described as a perfect example of a Glup Shitto, a term representing obscure background characters who unexpectedly become fan favorites. The character is a member of the crocin species, a group previously seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story that requires goggles to protect their eyes from harsh light.
The character has achieved viral status, with Lucasfilm Games executive producer Craig Derrick noting on X that the algorithm continues to prioritize Mister Biddy Blas. Reviewers characterize the creature as a shrill-voiced, delusional, and hideous figure who claims a background as a jatz trumpeter and Huttball player.
