The storage requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on PlayStation 5 have been disclosed, revealing a significant footprint for the upcoming title. According to data shared by PlayStation Game Size, the base game alone occupies approximately 117 GB. When the 42 GB Warzone Pack is included, the total installation size approaches 160 GB.
The installation is comprised of several distinct components. The Call of Duty HQ requires 28.7 GB, while the Campaign Pack and Multiplayer Pack demand 42.1 GB and 20.7 GB respectively. Additional files include the DMZ Pack 1 at 5.7 GB and the Shared Content Pack 1 at 19.6 GB.
Players may manage their storage by installing the campaign and multiplayer modes separately through the COD HQ interface. However, the total size remains subject to change before the October 23, 2026, launch date. With the addition of the DMZ Pack 2 and future updates, the complete installation could potentially reach 200 GB.
These figures align with the series' history of large file sizes. For comparison, Black Ops 7 previously occupied nearly 360 GB on the console when including the multiplayer mode, Warzone, and the Call of Duty HQ.
