In this title, players engage in turn-based battles by constructing a deck of attacks and defensive maneuvers. Success relies on playing cards in ascending order of cost to maximize damage. Players can deepen their strategy by drafting cards that modify costs, including negative-cost cards that restore mana, allowing for consistent, high-damage combos.
Polygon reviewer assessments highlight that while the game remains captivating on mobile, the port is not perfect. The interface currently mirrors the Windows PC version, resulting in a cramped play area within a central box. While swipe gestures offer a natural navigation alternative, the reviewer noted that the on-screen direction arrows are too small and expressed a desire for a full-screen update.
Poncle initially prioritized PC and console development, but overwhelming fan feedback has shifted the studio's perspective on mobile platforms.
