Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox Nano, a new controller designed with an ultra-compact form factor to improve portability. According to the company, this device is specifically tailored for younger players and individuals with smaller hands, aiming to facilitate gaming while on the move.
The hardware features a reduced size, measuring just over 12.7 centimeters in length and weighing 99 grams. Despite these dimensions, the controller retains the standard 18-button layout, ensuring users maintain the familiar control scheme found on traditional Xbox peripherals.
Technically, the Xbox Nano replaces standard batteries with an integrated rechargeable power source. It also includes a programmable action button for quick shortcuts and screenshots. Connectivity is supported via Bluetooth and Xbox Wireless technology, allowing for pairing with various compatible devices.
The controller is priced at 49.99 euros and is currently available for pre-order in Spain and other international markets. The official retail launch is scheduled for November 4 at 00:00h peninsular time. In the United States, pre-orders include a promotional offer of 2 months of Game Pass Ultimate for new members.
