The Ministry of Defense has announced the upcoming release of the Authority Reach premium Warbond for Helldivers 2. Scheduled for deployment on October 20, this content update focuses on long-range combat solutions and clandestine operations to enhance squad precision.
The update introduces several new weapons, including the R-40 Verdict bolt-action sniper rifle, which features armor-piercing ammunition. Players can also utilize the P-44 Marksman, a compact one-handed machine pistol, and the AMW-20 Apotheosis, a backpack-fed anti-material rifle designed for heavy armor. Additionally, the LAS-44 Scythe-style energy rifle offers infinite ammunition with thermal projectiles, while the G-11 Caltrop grenade provides area-of-effect crowd control by stunning enemies.
New armor sets, the light SS-33 Greenhouse and medium SS-15 Focal Point, feature the Static Shroud passive effect to reduce weapon sway. These sets utilize adaptive camouflage technology that allows players to blend into vegetation when crouching or prone, making detection difficult for enemies at range.
Beyond gear, the Warbond includes the Manual Ballistic Launch Protocol emote and the High Reach title. Access to this premium content requires the base game, the purchase of Super Credits, and progression within the game.
