Publisher Hooded Horse and developer Arcen Games have officially released the first DLC for the strategy RPG AI War: Fleet Command, titled Bonds, on the 13th. This expansion invites players to navigate a dystopian cyberpunk future while exploring themes of belonging and community.
The expansion builds upon the base game, where players act as the first sentient artificial intelligence. Bonds introduces new mechanics that allow players to grant intelligence to creatures, mediate between human religious factions, and strengthen ties within the criminal underworld to consolidate power.
Bonds adds several hours of mission content, three new endings, and various branching stories. Players gain access to exclusive buildings, unlockable equipment, and new enemies. Whether constructing a massive spider mech or transforming the city into a forest, players must manage the shifting bonds of local communities.
The DLC is available on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for 299. A 10% discount is active until October 26. A supporter pack featuring the soundtrack and wallpapers is also available, while the base game is currently discounted to 179 on Steam.
