On U.S. time September 22, 2026, NVIDIA released its latest official graphics driver, the GeForce 617.14 Driver. This WHQL-certified version is designed to support new titles scheduled for release between September and October.
The new driver supports three games: AION2, CONTROL Resonant, and Gears of War: E-Day. All three titles feature support for DLSS 4.5 super resolution and DLSS 4.5 multi-frame generation. Specifically, CONTROL Resonant adds support for ray tracing enhanced by DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, allowing GeForce RTX 50 series users to experience more realistic graphics.
The GeForce 617.14 Driver also adds support for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Remastered, which will be provided as a free update to original players. It includes numerous enhancements for GeForce RTX users, such as path tracing via DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction and NVIDIA HairWorks Technology enhanced by Linear Swept Sphere technology for GeForce RTX 50 series hardware.
Additionally, the update addresses several bugs reported since the GeForce 616.56 Driver, including issues affecting Sega game engine titles, a crash issue with Assassin's Creed Shadows during extended play, and display connection problems. The 990.85 MB driver is available for Windows 11 and 64-bit Windows 10 for both desktop and notebook PCs.
