KRAFTON announced that the action-adventure game Waltz and Jam will release on December 3rd. Developed by Flyway Games, the title is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and PS5. A demo is currently available for players on Steam.
The story follows a soul named Waltz and a puppy companion called Jam as they explore the afterlife realm known as Downtown. After waking up with no memory, the duo must complete a ticket to reach Uptown by overcoming seven trials based on a reinterpretation of the seven deadly sins.
Gameplay centers on combining the unique abilities of the two protagonists. Jam can transform into various objects like balls, trampolines, or water guns to assist Waltz. Meanwhile, Waltz utilizes collectible toys to slash or blow away obstacles, requiring players to strategically pair these tools with Jam's transformations to solve puzzles.
Downtown consists of seven distinct worlds, ranging from bustling restaurants to vast, sea-like deserts. Each environment features unique aesthetics and concludes with a battle against a massive boss consumed by sin.
