Sega has announced that the action RPG Stupid Never Dies is scheduled for release on October 22, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. A new 90-second trailer showcasing the game's world, action, and core systems is now available.
Developed by GPTRACK50 Inc., a studio featuring veterans from the Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma series, the game follows a weak zombie named Davey. Players engage in fast-paced growth mechanics to overcome challenges in a dangerous labyrinth.
Gameplay centers on two primary mechanics: body modification, which involves embedding equipment into the protagonist's body, and style consumption, allowing Davey to absorb enemies to gain new abilities and forms. These systems are used to help Davey revive the frozen heroine, Julia.
A First Bite Demo is currently available on PlayStation Store and Steam, offering approximately two hours of gameplay. Save data from this trial can be transferred to the full version upon its release. The standard edition is priced at 1,390 TWD or 338 HKD, while the Glorious Idiot Edition costs 1,790 TWD or 438 HKD.
