Deep Silver and KING Art Games have released the final faction spotlight for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, focusing on the Space Marines. Players can command the Blood Ravens and Dark Angels chapters, each offering distinct tactical approaches to the conflict on Kronus.
The Space Marines function as an elite force that relies on steady expansion and aggressive assaults. Because they are outnumbered by alien hordes, players must utilize careful positioning and tactical flexibility. The Blood Ravens specialize in reconnaissance, infiltration, and precision strikes led by Captain Cyrus, while the Dark Angels favor heavy armor and overwhelming firepower under the command of Captain Astolan.
As a real-time strategy title, the game features four factions including the Adeptus Mechanicus, which makes its series debut. Players can engage in over 70 campaign missions, skirmishes, and multiplayer modes. Combat mechanics allow for orbital bombardments and the deployment of units via drop pods to disrupt enemy lines.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is scheduled for release on December 3. Commander Edition owners gain early access starting November 30. Post-launch support includes free updates such as the Expedition mode, new maps, and a mission editor, alongside two major story expansions that will introduce a new playable faction.
