The development team behind Dark Soup Wolf has launched a trial version of their new social deduction game, Burger Party: Who is the Spy, on the Steam platform today. The cooperative and betrayal-focused title challenges players to work together to create the best possible hamburger, though not everyone in the kitchen is a genuine ally.
Participants are secretly divided into clerk and spy factions, cooperating to build a hamburger without letting it collapse. If the dish fails due to a spy's sabotage, players engage in discussions and vote to identify the most suspicious individual. Customers feature diverse preferences, ranging from demands to stack ingredients high to avoiding hidden disliked ingredients, while spies spread false information regarding these disliked items to sow chaos.
Supporting up to 6 players, the game features customizable rules ranging from a quick mode to a standard mode where score calculation and information verification are crucial. Players can utilize unique passive character skills, and a story mode is available for solo play. A single match lasts between 20 to 30 minutes, designed to accommodate beginners to the social deduction genre.
