Ubisoft has confirmed plans to potentially close Redlynx, the studio behind the Trials racing series, which could impact up to 52 positions. This proposal is currently subject to negotiations under local Finnish labor laws.

The company is also implementing staff reductions at Ubisoft Singapore, where 70 positions are impacted. Ubisoft stated these changes are intended to align the studio with upcoming production requirements, emphasizing that the location remains a significant part of its global organization.

Redlynx, which was acquired by Ubisoft in 2011, previously faced staff cuts in October 2025 when management shifted the studio's focus toward mobile projects. Reports indicate the studio currently lacks an active game project, contributing to the closure proposal.

Ubisoft Singapore is recognized for its work on the naval simulation Skull and Bones and various entries in the Assassin's Creed franchise. The studio led development on Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, which recently gained attention following datamined evidence of potential new content.
