Developer FUJII.Production has officially launched the Steam store page for their upcoming title, Yokohama Kido Bosozoku ROCK’N ROLL SUICIDE. This 90s-inspired robot adventure game is currently scheduled for release in March 2027 on PC. While the store page is live, the final pricing for the title remains unannounced.
The game features a unique aesthetic, utilizing actual photographs taken throughout Yokohama as the background for its exploration segments. Players navigate areas such as parks, shopping streets, and roads, interacting with residents and investigating events. The developer personally captured these images via bicycle to cultivate a nostalgic atmosphere.
Gameplay centers on one-on-one duels between giant robots. Players control the protagonist Miho and the leader Hoshi, piloting the machine known as Aka Taiman No. 2. Combat focuses on physical brawling rather than long-range weaponry, requiring players to manage distance and timing. Players can further customize their robot's techniques by collecting items called DISKs during exploration.
The narrative follows the Red Rockers biker gang as they become embroiled in a conflict against the Japan Military Police. Players must defeat four leaders of the Yokohama Union in duels while uncovering a government conspiracy. The game presents this story through 90s-style cutscenes, emphasizing a gritty, youth-oriented robot drama.
