On October 9, 2026, Razer unveiled the Basilisk V4 Pro, a high-end wireless and wired gaming mouse. This latest iteration in the Basilisk series integrates updated sensor technology, a new scroll wheel, and improved wireless communication capabilities, effectively combining top-tier specifications from the Viper V4 Pro and Naga V3 Pro.
The device features the Razer Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, delivering 930 IPS tracking speed, 90G acceleration, and 50000 DPI resolution. It utilizes Gen-4 optical mouse switches, which offer approximately 12 percent lighter actuation force than previous versions. Additionally, the Razer HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 provides three distinct modes: tactile, free-spin, and precision tactile.
Design updates include a fourth side button on the left, featuring a shape optimized for easier access compared to the Basilisk V3 Pro. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, wired USB, and Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, the latter supporting an 8000Hz polling rate. Despite these features, the mouse weighs approximately 100g, which is heavier than typical esports-focused models.
Razer also introduced the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed, which differs significantly in sensor performance, offering 540 IPS, 50G acceleration, and 33000 DPI. Furthermore, the company announced the Mouse Dock V2 Pro, which includes an integrated 8000Hz wireless adapter, wireless charging, and Chroma RGB lighting.
