The PlayStation Blog has officially announced that Control Resonant has been selected as the winner of the Players' Choice award for September 2026. This recognition follows a community vote organized by the platform to highlight the most notable releases of the month.

The selection process involves the PlayStation Blog editorial team curating a list of significant new titles released during the month. This list serves as the foundation for a public poll, allowing users to cast their votes for their favorite game.

Voters are encouraged to base their decisions on personal recommendations, specifically considering which title they would suggest to a friend. While standard re-releases are excluded from consideration, the criteria explicitly allow for ambitious, large-scale remakes such as Final Fantasy VII Remake or Resident Evil 4.

Following the conclusion of the monthly voting period, the results are tallied and the winner is revealed across official social media channels and the PlayStation Blog. The platform has now opened the floor for users to discuss their current gaming experiences and suggest candidates for the October poll.
