Nvidia has reportedly ceased production of the GeForce RTX 5090, including its D variants intended for the Chinese market. This claim originates from a leaked factory notice shared by leaker @hongxing2020 and reported by Tom's Hardware, with additional support from @Zed__Wang.

According to the leaked information, the GB202 chip, which powers the RTX 5090, will now be exclusively allocated to professional cards and data center hardware. Consequently, the RTX 5080 24 GB is expected to become the highest-tier GeForce graphics card, while the 16 GB version of the RTX 5080 will be discontinued.

Rumors also indicate that the RTX 50 Super series, potentially featuring an RTX 5080 Super 24 GB, faces delays due to memory supply constraints. As a result, the next major GPU lineup, the RTX 60 series based on the Rubin architecture, is not expected until late 2027 or 2028.

Nvidia has not issued an official statement regarding these claims and has not responded to requests for comment. These developments occur amid broader industry trends where manufacturers prioritize data center and AI hardware over consumer-grade components.
