Playground Games has officially scheduled the PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 6 for January 26, 2027. This release follows the title's initial launch on Xbox and PC platforms in May.
The PS5 edition will feature two distinct graphical modes: a 4K resolution option running at 30FPS and a Performance mode targeting 60FPS. Additionally, the game supports cross-platform play, cross-saves, and the ability to share user-created liveries and tuning configurations across all supported systems.
A free update and the game's first paid expansion are set to arrive on January 21, 2027. While the expansion is included for Premium Edition owners, specific details regarding the content of these additions remain unannounced.
Premium Edition purchasers gain early access to the game on January 21, while owners of the Standard and Deluxe editions must wait until the January 26 launch date to begin playing.
