The Lenovo Legion Go 2, equipped with the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, has seen its price climb to $3,081.99 on the official Lenovo US online store. This specific configuration features 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage, marking a significant rise from its previous cost of $2,849.
This latest adjustment represents an approximate 8% increase, or a $233 jump. While the manufacturer's site reflects these higher costs, the 1 TB model remains available at Best Buy for $1,999.99. However, these lower retail prices are expected to persist only until current inventory is exhausted.
Industry analysts suggest these hikes may stem from the ongoing volatility in the DRAM and RAM markets. Furthermore, potential upcoming price increases from AMD regarding its chipsets and processors, reportedly slated for Q4 2026, may also be influencing the current hardware pricing landscape.
Other models in the handheld lineup have also experienced substantial cost changes. The entry-level Legion Go S, originally priced at $649.99 and $899.99, has risen to $989.99 and $1,579.99 for the Z2 Go and Z1 Extreme versions, respectively.
