Arc System Works has announced the establishment of a new development base, ARC SYSTEM WORKS TOKYO STUDIO “TAKUMI,” located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The facility is scheduled to open on November 2, 2026.
The studio is being created to strengthen the company's overall development capabilities, specifically to support the creation of a new fighting game IP. This project was selected for the “IP360” initiative, a program promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to support the growth of the content industry.
The new fighting game will utilize cell-look 3D animation for its global release. Beyond game development, the company envisions the studio serving as a hub for international collaborations to deliver excitement to players worldwide.
In preparation for the launch, Arc System Works is actively recruiting initial members for the studio. Interested creators are encouraged to review the company's recruitment page for specific job details.
