Windup Games has released a playable demo for their upcoming 3D adventure title, Hela: of Mice & Magic. Published by Knights Peak and Boltray Games, the game invites players to explore a Scandinavian-inspired world as a brave mouse assisting a sick witch.
The gameplay focuses on solving puzzles, completing quests, and brewing potions. Players utilize a magical frog backpack gifted by the witch to reach inaccessible heights and interact with the environment. The demo features a unique map designed to showcase the game's atmosphere, exploration, and puzzle-solving mechanics.
The title supports both solo play and local split-screen cooperative modes. For those playing alone, the developer introduced the Gray Shadow system, which allows players to summon a magical clone to help overcome complex obstacles and environmental challenges.
The demo is currently available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The full version of Hela: of Mice & Magic is scheduled for release on December 1.
