Sony announced that God of War Laufey is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 consoles on February 16, 2027. Pre-orders became live on the PlayStation Store and at participating retailers, giving players a look at upcoming bonuses and editions.
Purchasing any copy prior to launch grants the Phranque Golden Leaves cosmetic appearance. Meanwhile, the Digital Deluxe Edition bundles the official digital soundtrack alongside the Serpent Bow weapon.
The Serpent Bow features two distinct firing modes and various arrow types, including rapid fire, explosive detonations, and multi-target capabilities. Players can also equip different Scales to change the weapon's appearance and specialization through unique perks like the Dark Alchemy Bow Scales.
Physical Standard Edition buyers receive pre-order bonuses via a download code, which requires an internet connection and a PlayStation account. Santa Monica Studio confirmed that in-game items can also be unlocked through story progression.
